Ms. Santos was a Legislative Officer in the Senate of the Philippines. Among the bills she helped pass into laws were the Philippine Competition Law, Lemon Law, Tax Amnesty, Revised Corporation Code and the Free Tuition Act. Ms. Santos was also nominated and finished an Executive Education Program conducted by Duke University for Senior Policy Makers on emerging trends in financial technology.
Prior to joining the government, Ms. Santos came from the private sector. She was awarded Best Management Trainee by an international consumer bank where she managed wealth portfolios of high net worth clients. She is a licensed foreign exchange, fixed income securities and money market trader by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
She was a former legal intern at the Ateneo Human Rights Center, Romulo, Mabanta, Buenaventura, Sayoc & De Los Angeles Law Firm as well as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
She graduated from De La Salle University-Manila where she took up B.S. Applied Economics-Business Management. She earned her J.D. degree from Arellano University.
