Atty. Anthony B. Peralta is a Senior Partner and the head of the Firm’s Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Departments. His practice involves a broad range of areas such as: banking and finance, business process outsourcing, capital markets, commercial litigation, government contracts and procurement law, data privacy and protection, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, securities, energy law, environmental law, taxation, and transportation law. Atty. Peralta also has experience in commercial and criminal litigation, having appeared in various cases involving insolvency, corporate rehabilitation, disputed tax assessments, unfair competition, and trademark and patent infringement. He notably served as a private prosecutor in the impeachment case of former President Joseph Estrada and in his plunder case before the Sandiganbayan. He previously argued before the Supreme Court in a case involving the foreign ownership issue involving the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company.

Atty. Peralta has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal, a London-based publication, as a global leader in Information Technology law. As part of his practice, he has assisted in the structuring of settlement agreements for technology, intellectual property, and privacy cases. He has represented various global companies in negotiating and drafting software, hardware, internet, cloud, cyber security, and other information technology transactions.

Atty. Peralta is a member of several local and international organizations, such as the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines, International Trademark Association, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Rizal Chapter, and the Intellectual Property Professors Association. He is the current country representative of the Information Technology Law Association (ITECH Law) and is a Director and past President of the Licensing Executives Society Philippines. He was also the previous president of the Intellectual Property Alumni Association. He has been a faculty member of the De La Salle University College of Law since 2011. He served as Associate dean from 2017-2022. He teaches Corporation Law, Mergers & Acquisditions, Credit Transactions, Cyber Law, Intellectual Property, Land Titles & Deeds and Legal Forms.
